How to spend less on Your trips

As it has been said we can’t travel without money – True, but here I will discuss how we can travel more and spend less.

Traveling cheap is not the right word to say here but traveling frugally or smartly is the only way we can save money, our travel resources, and improve our spending capacity.

I started traveling when I was 17, it has been 6 years and I still keep on searching and looking for different ways to make my travel better so that I can spend less as much as possible.

People who think travel is expensive or travel should be luxurious all the time are wrong here, you don’t have to stay in 4-star or 5-star all the time, give your comfort level a little break, and start exploring the things as a local tourist. Try searching for the best alternatives when it comes to accommodation, flights, etc.

Its a world of shared economy and some platforms like Airbnb, Zostel(only in India), backpacker’s dorms can make our travel happen in the best possible way.

Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to stay in the crowded dorm, I am also not a type of living in 8-10 sitters dorms, but I don’t travel cheap, I make my arrangements by doing my homework in advance and travel frugally and there is only one simple rule  – Work More and Spend Less, spending less here doesn’t mean that you have to compromise on your quality of living

Spending less can be in your day to day expenses like shopping, eating in the local restaurant, make habit of bargaining where you feel to do so.

People usually ask how you travel so often, from where you get the money and the answer is so simple – By savings Only. Doesn’t matter if you are a student or working individual – only savings will help you to get on the roads again. Don’t wait for the perfect time to travel when you already made up your mind and completely serious about it.

There is too much misconception in our mind that travel is expensive,

Travel is not expensive but your mindset is, all we need to do is change our mindset first.

  • Eat where the local people eat
  • Try to book hotels and flights in advance
  • Go with shared accommodation like Airbnb, Hostelworld, etc

Flights may be more costly than yesterday but there will be certainly good deals out there where you can jump and grab it. Flights may save time but it cost you more. Try to grab buses and trains, it may take more time than a flight but you can save a lot on your overall cost.

I too prefer trains and buses overflights because flight costs are scary sometimes so better do your homework and find a good deal.

Make travel a priority, if it’s your priority then only you will be concerned about it and have a desire to fulfill your planned dreams.

Once it becomes important you will find ways to save. Cut out your weekend night outs, and fancy dinners, it’s all about your mindset and how you keep your pace with it.

This site is only to keep you motivated and make your dream come true. You just have to think differently from others, forget about packaged tours, overpriced restaurants, and expensive hotels.

You still can have a luxury trip without a luxury price, So Be a smart tourist rather than a hectic traveler.

So this is what I do and monetize my travel and now it’s your turn!
